Role and Responsibilities
Contribute to offerings of Ei like ASSET, CARES, Mindspark and large-scale education projects
• Create pedagogically rich and innovative content for these products
• Critically review the content of these products
• Managing small projects
• Researching on how students best learn Maths (pedagogy of Maths)–
• Reading research papers from academic journals
• Analysing data on questions and learning modules
• By interacting with external subject experts, teachers and researchers
• By interacting with students and understanding how students think
• Attending conferences and presenting a paper
• Build internal capacity of Educational Specialists (ES) in Ei
• Conduct trainings for Educational specialists to sharpen their understanding of
• good assessments and teaching of Maths
• Sharing insights on students learning analysing data from the offerings of Ei and
• how to use them to improve the offerings

Skillset Must have
• Love for Maths and a mindset to research into how students best learn Maths!
• Deep understanding of mathematics and mathematical thinking
• Understanding of leading Indian and few International curricula; ability to compare and
• critique different curricula
• Understanding of pedagogical approach to enable learning of Maths
• Ability to critically analyze questions, assessments, and pedagogical approaches
• Ability to create and source engaging assessments for students
• Ability to create and source effective lesson plans to teach a math concept
• Basic data analysis skills, and basic understanding of statistics
• Basic technological awareness (Windows functions, MS Office and MS Excel in
particular, email features)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Sticking to project schedules and effective workload management

Education
Subject background in Maths and/or Maths education at a Masters’ level or above

Experience
About 3-5 years of experience in Maths education
